Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Center Manager to lead our client’s service center operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or distribution management, inventory control, and team leadership. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and exceptional customer service, while managing and developing a high-performing team.

Job Details:

Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations of the service center, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and value-added services
Ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment according to customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs)
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), such as productivity, inventory accuracy, and operating costs
Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory control procedures
Recruit, train, coach, and develop service center staff to meet performance and growth goals
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company policies, and promote a strong safety culture
Collaborate with sales, account management, and engineering teams to support customer programs and resolve operational issues
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, workflow, and service quality

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations or supply chain management
5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or service center operations
2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience a plus
