Overview
We are hiring a Pre-Construction Estimator / Manager to lead conceptual estimating and bid coordination across a national footprint. This is a backfill for a key role focused on subcontractor engagement and driving bid coverage.
Responsibilities

Develop conceptual estimates from partial drawings

Manage bid books and coordinate bid process

Conduct subcontractor outreach to confirm participation

Source new vendors through referrals and networks

Ensure bid coverage across all 48 states

Oversee a small team (1 local, 1 remote)

Improve and standardize pre-con processes
Qualifications
-
5-7 years of experience in construction estimating or pre-construction

Exposure to conceptual estimating

Strong subcontractor engagement / bid coordination experience

Comfortable with phone outreach and vendor communication

Ability to work across multiple regions

Prior leadership experience preferred
