TRC Talent Solutions is hiring for Warehouse Associate our client in Peachtree City. GA
Job Details:
- Full time: Must be flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Training: 5 weeks on 1st shift
- Pay: 18.50/hr.
- Must live with 20 miles of location
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities but are not limited to:
- Take bulk rolls from the coaters to the respective location (SAI trailers or WIP locations) while performing all necessary transactions
- Load trailers with bulk roll material that needs to be shipped out to the network while performing all necessary systems transactions
- Receive incoming bulk roll material from the network while performing all the system transactions and quality checks
- Conduct daily and weekly cycle counts
- Move trailers in and out of dock doors while following dock door safety protocols
- Load trailers in Shipping while performing all necessary system transactions, paperwork filing, and safety procedures
- Unload the line to keep material flowing from Finishing to Shipping
- Load trailers in Shipping while performing all necessary system transactions, paperwork filing, and safety procedures
- Unload the line to keep material flowing from Finishing to Shipping.
- Ensure weekly and monthly cycle count requirements are complete
- Ability to articulate locator needs and systems errors with local and divisional IT support
- Certified or willing to be certified on all PTC forklifts (Sit-down, Pole, Antler, Side Loader, etc.)
- Strong Cross-Functional team collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel/google sheets to analyze data
- Providing timely feedback to areas and teams generating transactional errors, using transactional history
- Providing timely feedback and data to leadership team(s) to help drive inventory accuracy at the site
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum education of high school diploma or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have general knowledge and be able to work with computers and programs (G Suite Applications, Oracle, OTM, etc.).
- Willingness to act as an additional material handling resource by taking a hands-on approach to day-to-day inbound/outbound/production activities.
- Must regard safety as a core value; must serve as a role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.
- Must be able to actively contribute to a team-based environment, encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal.
- Must have a strong service and quality focus, be able to address issues effectively when problems arise, and take the initiative to understand the root cause then communicate/educate team in a timely manner.
- Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support material handling operations and a strong customer focus.
- Must have a strong detail orientation and be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.
