Key Responsibilities
As an FMLA Specialist, you will be responsible for administering and managing employee leave requests in compliance with federal and state regulations. Key duties include:
Review, evaluate, and process FMLA leave requests and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company leave policies
Partner with HR teams and management to provide guidance on FMLA procedures and employee leave matters
Maintain accurate and confidential employee leave records and documentation
Communicate with employees regarding leave eligibility, status updates, rights, and responsibilities
Monitor leave timelines and coordinate return-to-work processes
Conduct training sessions and provide education on FMLA regulations and best practices
Support audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives related to employee leave programs
Qualifications & Experience
2–5 years of experience in FMLA administration, leave management, HR, or a related field preferred
Strong understanding of FMLA regulations and related employment laws
Experience handling confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion
Desired Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
