Responsibilities – Service Advisor:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival in the service lane.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns, document repair needs, and communicate clearly with technicians.
- Provide accurate cost estimates, timelines, and recommendations for necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the repair process, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied every step of the way.
- Review vehicle inspections and communicate technician findings clearly and honestly.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to effectively answer customer questions.
- Prepare repair orders, process payments, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Follow up after service visits to maintain relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and management to meet service goals.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience in every interaction.
Qualifications / Requirements – Service Advisor:
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Basic computer literacy — familiarity with service management software or CRMs preferred.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and team oriented.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
